Money Ruins Life.
It's getting cold.
Today the roads were covered in a layer of ice and I didn't dare go outside.
Luckily I had the day off, as my winter driving skills are quite rusty.
Oh right, I'm working now.. have I mentioned that yet??
Well I am. Temporary office placements, mostly receptionist positions in oilfield offices.
It's quite boring, I'll be the first to admit it, but my current financial situation doesn't offer me much choice of waiting for the perfect job.
I've started to plan a budget and savings plan for my next trip, but my Mastercard is in serious need of being payed off before I can even consider leaving the country again. Soon enough I'll find myself working 2 jobs, 17 hour days, and having no social life... but if it gets me where I want to be, I'm okay with that.

49 days until Christmas!!
Another week has passed and I don't know what I've done with my time.
On Monday, we went to karaoke night as usual, only for once we were joined by quite a few friends, making it less lame than the usual Carley and I.

I have a job now. Yeah, I know, FINALLY.
It's only temporary... 4 days to be exact, but I've got another one lined up right after.
I started this morning, and I've yet to adjust to waking up early. I slept in, and awoke to the realization that I had to leave in 10 minutes. I showered, got ready as fast as I was capable of doing, and sped to the other side of the city. It was a slack day, but it feels good to know that I'm going to have income very shortly... it's been far too long. End of August actually. Wow, I've done well.
My friend Ron fixed my camera that broke on my last day in Sydney, so he is officially my hero. I don't know what I've done without that thing.
Anyways, another early start tomorrow.. 7 am!!!! Yuck.
Off to bed for this girl.

Happy Halloween!
This Halloween, I dressed up as a pirate, complete with my pet parrot.
As usual, the night consisted of many photos, jello shooters, and becoming stupidly drunk.
